There was a small surprise in Barcelona where thirteenth ranked Segle XXI (2-7) edged 11th ranked Almeria (3-6) 61-59 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 8 points after three quarters before their 19-9 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Center Laia Sole (184-98) stepped up and scored 23 points for the winners and point guard Aina Ayuso (181-99) chipped in 18 points and 5 rebounds. The best for the losing side was power forward Alicia Gonzalez (187-86) with 23 points and 6 rebounds and Lillian Chukwueze (-93) scored 13 points and 6 rebounds.
