Not a big story in a game when 10th ranked Trefl II Sopot (2-7) lost to seventh ranked SMS PZKosz (5-4) in Wladyslawowo 70-85 on Saturday. SMS PZKosz forced 26 Trefl II Sopot turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a good game for guard Michal Kierlewicz (192-97) who led his team to a victory with 17 points, 8 rebounds, 8 assists and 8 steals. Point guard Mikolaj Ratajczak (190-97) contributed with 10 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Four SMS PZKosz players scored in double figures. Guard Lukasz Kolenda (188-99) answered with 20 points, 6 assists and 5 steals and Damian Szczepanik (198-97) added 13 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Trefl II Sopot. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. SMS PZKosz moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Trefl II Sopot lost their third game in a row. They keep the tenth position with seven games lost. SMS PZKosz will face AZS PGd (#4) in Gdansk in the next round. Trefl II Sopot will play at home against Domino Inowr. (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
