Very expected game when 10th ranked Estudiantes L. (1-4) was defeated on the road by top-ranked Mieres BVM (5-0) 75-59 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Mieres BVM. Estudiantes L. was better in third quarter 19-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Estudiantes L. was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Estudiantes L. lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the ninth place with four games lost. Mieres BVM will face Vigren (#5) in Zamora in the next round. Estudiantes L. will play at home against Ourense (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
