Regular Season Round 19: Fukushima - Saitama Bron. 84-64

Very predictable result when fifth ranked Fukushima (10-5) outscored at home 11th ranked Saitama Broncos (1-14) 84-64 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Fukushima. Saitama Broncos was better in third quarter 21-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Fukushima looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 6 passes made by Saitama Broncos' players. American swingman Le'Bryan Nash (201-92, college: Oklahoma St.) fired a triple-double by scoring 14 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists for the winners. His fellow American import forward Stephan Van Treese (206-90, college: Louisville, agency: Two Points) chipped in 12 points and 9 rebounds. Four Fukushima players scored in double figures. Fukushima's coach Hiroki Fujita allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Guard Janya Masumoto (183-88) produced 25 points and 7 rebounds and American power forward Evan Harris (206-86, college: Harvard, agency: I.D.S. Law) added 15 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. Fukushima moved-up to third place, which they share with Akita NH and Shiga L-Stars. Saitama Broncos lost their seventh game in a row. They keep the eleventh position with 14 games lost. Fukushima will face again Saitama Broncos (#11) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
