Quite upsetting was Mondragon's home defeat in a game versus TAKE Tolosa who edged hosts 60-58. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 16-8. But Mondragon won second period 19-15. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Guard Lander Lasa (193-88) fired 25 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Forward Goar Arteche (186-77) chipped in 14 points. Power forward Benat Barberena (204-89) produced 17 points and 9 rebounds and Mikel Arejolaleiba (-90) added 15 points and 7 assists respectively for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. TAKE Tolosa (3-3) moved-up to sixth place in Group A-A, which they share with Valladolid Univ. Loser Mondragon keeps the eighth position with four games lost. They share it with 3 other teams.
