There was a small surprise when tenth ranked Chalon/Saor (6-4) defeated on the road 8th ranked Entente Orleans 45 (5-4) 77-71. Entente Orleans 45 was ahead by 6 points at the halftime before a 40-28 second half run of Chalon/Saor. Worth to mention a great performance of American center Devin Booker (203-91, college: Clemson) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 8 rebounds. The other American import point guard John Roberson (180-88, college: Texas Tech) contributed with 16 points and 6 assists for the winners. Chalon/Saor's coach Jean-Denys Choulet used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. International guard Antoine Eito (186-88) replied with 15 points and 7 assists and American forward Marcellus Sommerville (200-82, college: Bradley, agency: DTMones) added 11 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Entente Orleans 45. Chalon/Saor have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Antibes. Entente Orleans 45 at the other side keeps the eighth position with four games lost. Chalon/Saor's next round opponent will be league's leader ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket at home and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Entente Orleans 45 will play against Pau-Lacq-Orthez (#13) and hope to win that game.
