Regular Season Round 3: Al Gharafa - Al Sadd 56-71

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Al Gharafa (2-1) in Doha on Saturday night. Hosts were defeated by Al Sadd (3-0) 71-56. The guests trailed by 4 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 9-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 71-56. Al Sadd dominated on the defensive end, holding Al Gharafa to just 6 points in second quarter. It was a great evening for international swingman Khalid Abdi (198-87) who led his team to a victory scoring 21 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals.
