Regular Season Round 9: Tur Bielsk Pdl. - AZS UMCS 72-82

Very expected game when 10th ranked Tur Bielsk Pdl. (3-6) lost to sixth ranked AZS UMCS (5-4) in Bielsk Podlaski 72-82 on Saturday. It was a good game for forward Rafal Krol (200-87) who led his team to a victory with 25 points and 5 rebounds. Swingman Bartlomiej Karolak (198-92) contributed with 20 points and 5 assists for the winners. Arkadiusz Zabielski (197-84) answered with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists and forward Lukasz Kuczynski (194-85) added 22 points in the effort for Tur Bielsk Pdl.The victory was the third consecutive win for AZS UMCS. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Newly promoted Tur Bielsk Pdl. dropped to the eighth position with six games lost. AZS UMCS will face Polonia W-wa (#12) in Warszawa in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Tur Bielsk Pdl. will play on the road against Shmoolky W-wa (#6) in Warszawa and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
