Not a big story in a game when 15th ranked Biofarm PZN (3-9) lost to twelfth ranked Nysa Klodzko (5-7) in Kloszko 66-77. Nysa Klodzko outrebounded Biofarm PZN 37-21 including a 24-13 advantage in defensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 30 assists. The best player for the winners was swingman Tomasz Stepien (192-86) who had a double-double by scoring 17 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists. Center Jaroslaw Bartkowiak (201-85) chipped in 14 points and 8 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was center Adam Metelski (206-83, college: Cal-Irvine) who recorded 17 points and 7 rebounds and swingman Tomasz Smorawinski (196-87) added 14 points and 4 steals respectively. Biofarm PZN's coach Przemyslaw Szurek tested eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Nysa Klodzko moved-up to tenth place. Biofarm PZN lost fifth consecutive game. Biofarm PZN at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the fourteenth position with nine games lost. Nysa Klodzko's next round opponent will be higher ranked Legia W-wa (#4) in Warszawa and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Biofarm PZN will play at home against SKK Siedlce (#13) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
