There was no surprise in Trento where 14th ranked Auxilium TO (2-7) was defeated by fifth ranked Dolomiti En. TR (6-3) 93-85 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 47-38 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Dolomiti En. TR outrebounded Auxilium TO 40-25 including 27 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was international forward Davide Pascolo (201-90) who had a double-double by scoring 19 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. American guard Trent Lockett (196-90, college: Marquette, agency: CGL Sports) chipped in 19 points, 5 assists and 5 steals. Dolomiti En. TR's coach Maurizio Buscaglia used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was American D.J. White (206-86, college: Indiana) who recorded 21 points and 8 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and the former international point guard Jacopo Giachetti (190-83) added 11 points and 6 assists respectively. Four Dolomiti En. TR and five Auxilium TO players scored in double figures. Dolomiti En. TR moved-up to second place, which they share with 5 other teams. Newly promoted Auxilium TO dropped to the fifteenth position with seven games lost. They share it with VL Pesaro. Dolomiti En. TR will meet Banco di Srd (#5) in the next round.
