Regular Season Round 11: Telge - Sallen 62-51
Date: November 28, 2015
There was no surprise when 5th ranked Sallen (6-4) was defeated on the road by third ranked Telge (8-2) 62-51 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Telge. Sallen was better in second period 19-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was American guard Taneisha Harrison (182-89, college: Pittsburgh) who had a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds. Forward Ellen Astrom (170-96) chipped in 15 points. American guard Tiffany Brown (165-86, college: Georgia South) produced 16 points, 8 assists and 4 steals and the former international Kadidja Andersson (183-80, college: Minnesota) added 12 points respectively for the guests. The victory was the third consecutive win for Telge. They maintain third place with 8-2 record having six points less than leader Lulea Basket. Sallen at the other side keeps the fifth position with four games lost. Telge will face league's leader Lulea Basket at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
