Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both thirteenth ranked Mola and 16th ranked Vasto had identical 2-7 record. But Vasto was not able to use a home court advantage and was defeated by the opponent from Mola 75-68 on Sunday night. Mola looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Francesco Didonna (190-94) scored 20 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Nicola Bastone (195-92) chipped in 20 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals during the contest. At the losing side guard Luca Di Tizio (195-90) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds and guard Vincenzo Di Pierro (175-79) scored 13 points and 8 assists. Mola (3-7) moved-up to eleventh place in B, which they share with Padova and Pavia. Loser Vasto dropped to the fourteenth position with eight games lost. Mola will face league's second-placed Montegrano in Montenegrano in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Vasto will play on the road against Giulianova (#13) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
