Regular Season Round 14: Baerum Basket - Fyllingen BBK 81-90

We should mention about the upset which took place in Bekkestua, where higher ranked Baerum Basket (5-5) lost at home to tenth ranked Fyllingen BBK (2-8) 81-90. They made 18-of-20 charity shots (90.0 percent) during the game. Fyllingen BBK brought some defensive toughness making 10 blocks. American forward Calvin Henry (198-86, college: Mercer) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!), 12 rebounds and 7 blocks (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!). Guard Brede Ellingsen (188-88) contributed with 14 points and 6 assists for the winners. point guard Stian Mjos (183-89) replied with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 14 assists and American forward Mike Bruesewitz (201-90, college: Wisconsin) added 22 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 blocks in the effort for Baerum Basket. Five Fyllingen BBK and four Baerum Basket players scored in double figures. Newly promoted Fyllingen BBK maintains tenth position with 2-8 record. Baerum Basket at the other side keeps the sixth place with five games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
