Not a big story in a game when 8th ranked DongGuan Leopards (6-4) were rolled over at home by fourth ranked Zhejiang Guangsha Lions (9-2) 120-96 on Sunday. The game without a history. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to DongGuan Leopards' 36 and made 20-of-26 free shots (76.9 percent) during the game. They outrebounded DongGuan Leopards 54-42 including 39 on the defensive glass. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. DongGuan Leopards were plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. Americans were the main players on the court. It was a great evening for power forward Elijah Holman (208-89, college: Detroit Mercy, agency: Pensack Sports) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 14 rebounds. Point guard Jeremy Pargo (188-86, college: Gonzaga, agency: Priority Sports) helped adding 21 points and 9 assists. Five Zhejiang Guangsha Lions players scored in double figures. point guard Bobby Brown (188-84, college: CS Fullerton) responded with 32 points and 5 assists and Dominic McGuire (206-85, college: Fresno St., agency: Priority Sports) scored 14 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Guangdong ST and Sichuan BW. Loser DongGuan Leopards keep the eighth position with four games lost. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions will face Sichuan BW (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day. DongGuan Leopards will play against Shandong Bulls (#9) in Jinan and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
