Not a big story in a game in Tokyo where bottom-ranked Niigata R. (0-16) was rolled over by ninth ranked Haneda Vickies (2-14) 72-53 on Sunday. The guests trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 5-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 72-53. Haneda Vickies made 19-of-24 free shots (79.2 percent) during the game. Niigata R. was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of Shibuya Satsuki (168-98) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 11 points and 14 rebounds and center BenWang Jin (179-92) who added 15 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. Five Haneda Vickies players scored in double figures. Haneda Vickies will face higher ranked Toyota B SR (#8) in Aichi in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Niigata R. will play on the road against Hitachi Cougars in Hitachinaka and hopes to get finally their first victory.
