No shocking result in a game when ninth ranked Strasbourg IG (7-4) defeated at home 16th ranked Cholet Basket (2-9) 89-77 on Monday. The game was mostly controlled by Strasbourg IG. Cholet Basket was better in third quarter 24-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Strasbourg IG dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Cholet Basket's 32. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Cholet Basket was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was American forward Matt Howard (203-89, college: Butler) who scored 11 points and 8 rebounds.
