Regular Season Round 12: CFBB - Mulhouse 61-90

Bottom-ranked CFBB is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their 11th consecutive match to sixth ranked Mulhouse Basket (7-4) 90-61. They made 21-of-26 charity shots (80.8 percent) during the game. Mulhouse Basket forced 21 CFBB turnovers and outrebounded them 37-18 including a 23-10 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of center Mourad Benkloua (206-92) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 9 rebounds and swingman Parfait Njiba (198-89, agency: Octagon Europe) who added 17 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Five Mulhouse Basket players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was guard Timothee Vergiat (185-98) with 13 points and center Thimotee Bazille (200-99) scored 11 points. CFBB's coach Jean-Aime Toupane gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Mulhouse Basket have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Maurienne and GET Vosges. CFBB at the other side still closes the standings with 11 games lost. Mulhouse Basket will play against La Rochelle (#11) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. CFBB will play against UB Chartres (#16) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
