We should mention about the upset which took place in Ningbo, where higher ranked Jiangsu TX (5-7) lost to seventeenth ranked Bayi Rockets (4-8) in a road game 92-102 on Wednesday. Bayi Rockets dominated down low during the game scoring 74 of its points in the paint compared to Jiangsu TX's 36. Bayi Rockets forced 27 Jiangsu TX turnovers. The best player for the winners was the former international guard Shuo Han (196-86) who scored 15 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists and 6 steals. Forward Yuchen Zou (197-96) chipped in a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds. Five Bayi Rockets players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Von Wafer (196-85, college: Florida St.) who recorded 27 points and center Tursun Mardan (206-88) added 15 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists respectively. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Bayi Rockets moved-up to fifteenth place, which they share with Qingdao E. and North Control B. Jiangsu TX lost third consecutive game. They keep the eleventh position with seven games lost. Bayi Rockets will face higher ranked Zhejiang Guangsha Lions (#3) in Hangzhou in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
