A very interesting game took place in Limoges. It ended with only two-point defeat on the road of 12th ranked CFBB (1-7) to eighth ranked Limoges (3-5) 56-54 on Wednesday evening. The winners were led by guard Emmanuelle Gorjeu (172-89) who scored that evening 19 points and 5 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) and Canadian guard Nakeshia Hyde (178-90, college: Texas Tech) supported her with 7 points and 15 rebounds. Even 9 points and 11 rebounds by center Alexia Chartereau (189-98) did not help to save the game for CFBB. Swingman Tima Pouye (176-99) added 11 points for the guests. CFBB's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Limoges moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Avenir. CFBB at the other side stay at the bottom position with seven games lost. Limoges' next round opponent will be higher ranked LTB 29 (#4) in Pleyber-Christ and it may be quite challenging game. CFBB will play at home against SIG (#6) and hope to win that game.
