A very close game took place in Salo between Lapuan Korikobrat and Salon Vilpas. Seventh ranked Lapuan Korikobrat (6-6) got a very close victory on the road over 8th ranked Salon Vilpas (5-9). Lapuan Korikobrat managed to escape with a 2-point win 84-82 in the game for the seventh place. The guests trailed by 5 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 9-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 84-82. American players dominated the game. Even a double-double of 22 points and 11 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) by forward Monyea Pratt (195-85, college: Stillman, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) did not help to save the game for Salon Vilpas. Guard Doug Wiggins (185-88, college: Mountain St.) added 23 points and 4 assists for the hosts. Four Salon Vilpas players scored in double figures. Lapuan Korikobrat have a solid three-game winning streak. Lapuan Korikobrat maintains seventh position with 6-6 record. Loser Salon Vilpas keeps the eighth place with nine games lost.
