The hosts trailed by 15 points after first quarter, but they rallied back and won the game in overtime by 7 points. Sao Jose/Vinac was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. Puerto Rican guard Isaac Sosa Carrion (190-90, college: Canisius) orchestrated the victory by scoring 31 points.
