Worth to mention about the upset in a game between Liaoning Hunters (9-4) and Foshan (3-10), which took place in Yingkou. 4th placed Liaoning Hunters lost at home to nineteenth ranked Foshan 99-103. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Liaoning Hunters. The guests started the game with a very strong first quarter 29-19. But Liaoning Hunters won second period 24-22. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a great shooting night for Foshan especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.9 percentage. American forward Jerrelle Benimon (203-91, college: Towson) fired 33 points (!!!), 9 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Forward Junwei Ren (203-90) chipped in a double-double by scoring 12 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. American Lester Hudson (190-84, college: Tenn-Martin, agency: Priority Sports) produced 33 points (!!!) and 4 assists and the other American import forward Shavlik Randolph (208-83, college: Duke) added 15 points and 13 rebounds respectively for lost side. Five Foshan and four Liaoning Hunters players scored in double figures. Foshan have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to eighteenth place, which they share with Jilin NE T. Liaoning Hunters at the other side dropped to the fifth position with four games lost. Foshan's next round opponent will be higher ranked North Control (#15) in Beijing and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Liaoning Hunters will play at home against Jiangsu Dragons (#13) and hope to win that game.
