Regular Season Round 10: Panteras - Halcones 88-60
Date: December 4, 2015
Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Panama City: Panteras (#5) and Halcones (#6). Panteras (5-5) smashed visiting Halcones (2-8) by 28 points 88-60. The game without a history. Panteras led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Naturalized American point guard Bradley Turner (183-89, college: Clayton St.) notched 24 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the effort and center Josimar Blenman (200-89, college: Globe Tech JC) supported him with 15 points and 17 rebounds. Four Panteras players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 15 points and 13 rebounds by power forward Richard Newball (192-88) did not help to save the game for Halcones. The former international swingman Joshua Chambers (195-83, college: N.Colorado) added 14 points and 6 assists for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Panteras moved-up to third place, which they share with Aguilas and Toros. Halcones lost seventh consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with eight games lost.
