Regular Season Round 11: Caceres - Melilla 82-79

A very interesting game took place in Caceres. It ended with only three-point defeat on the road of higher ranked Melilla Baloncesto (7-4) to thirteenth ranked Caceres Basket (4-7) 82-79 on Friday evening. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Melilla Baloncesto. It was an exceptional evening for guard Luis Parejo (195-89) who led the winners and scored 25 points. Center Victor Serrano (211-89) accounted for 14 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side. Center Eduardo Hernandez-Sonseca (212-83) came up with 12 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and power forward Hector Manzano (207-80) added 15 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Melilla Baloncesto in the defeat. Four Melilla Baloncesto players scored in double figures. Melilla Baloncesto's coach let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Caceres Basket moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Penas Huesca and Forca Lleida. Melilla Baloncesto at the other side dropped to the third position with four games lost. Caceres Basket's next round opponent will be Leyma Basquet (#14) in Coruna. Melilla Baloncesto will play at home against FC Barcelona II (#6) and hope to win that game.
