Regular Season Round 11: Paris-Levallois - Dijon 75-89

There was no surprise when 15th ranked Paris-Levallois (3-8) was defeated at home by fifth ranked JDA Dijon (7-3) 89-75 on Friday. The game was mostly controlled by JDA Dijon. Paris-Levallois was better in fourth quarter 22-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. JDA Dijon looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was British forward Myles Hesson (198-90) who scored 24 points and 6 rebounds. American power forward Tyler Cain (203-88, college: S.Dakota) chipped in a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds. American guard Young (196-86, college: N.Mexico St.) produced 18 points and 5 rebounds and the other American import point guard Chris Jones (178-91, college: Louisville) added 20 points respectively for the hosts. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. JDA Dijon have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to fourth place. Paris-Levallois lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the fourteenth position with eight games lost. JDA Dijon will face Chalons-Reims (#12) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Paris-Levallois will play against Cholet Basket and hope to win that game.
