There was an upset when higher ranked SAP Vaucluse (6-6) was defeated on the road by twelfth ranked Caen (7-6) 81-70 on Friday. The hosts trailed by 6 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 9-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 81-70. Caen outrebounded SAP Vaucluse 35-24 including 17 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. They moved-up to ninth place, which they share with La Rochelle. Loser SAP Vaucluse dropped to the eleventh position with six games lost. Caen will face JSA Bordeaux (#16) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. SAP Vaucluse will play against CFBB (#18) in Paris and hope to win that game.
