Very predictable result in Warszawa where fourth ranked Legia W-wa (9-4) smashed 10th ranked Nysa Klodzko (5-8) 84-51 on Saturday. Legia W-wa forced 24 Nysa Klodzko turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Nysa Klodzko's players. Nysa Klodzko was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Power forward Adam Linowski (201-87, agency: Promotex) stepped up and scored 15 points and 9 rebounds for the winners and Michal Aleksandrowicz (192-89) chipped in 16 points and 4 assists. Five Legia W-wa players scored in double figures. At the losing side swingman Tomasz Stepien (192-86) responded with 20 points and center Jaroslaw Bartkowiak (201-85) scored 8 points and 7 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Legia W-wa moved-up to third place. Newly promoted Nysa Klodzko keeps the tenth position with eight games lost. Legia W-wa will face Biofarm PZN (#11) in Poznan in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Nysa Klodzko will play at home against AZS AWF Mick. and hope to win that game.
