Regular Season Round 12: Alvik Basket - BG Lulea 86-52

Everything went according to plan when fifth ranked Alvik Basket (6-4) outplayed 10th ranked BG Lulea (3-6) in Bromma 86-52 on Saturday. The game without a history. Alvik Basket led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding BG Lulea to just 6 points in fourth quarter. Alvik Basket dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to BG Lulea's 32 and made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. They outrebounded BG Lulea 39-26 including a 26-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a good game for forward Richard Hartmann (203-89) who led his team to a victory with 25 points and 8 rebounds. Point guard Anton Miller (180-91, college: Claflin) contributed with 14 points and 4 assists for the winners. Four Alvik Basket players scored in double figures. Alvik Basket's coach David McCann felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to get some rest. point guard William Eriksson-Hansson (184-98) replied with 8 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Jonatan Arvidsson (180-98) added 11 points in the effort for BG Lulea. Alvik Basket have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain fifth position with 6-4 record, which they share with Boras II. Loser BG Lulea keeps the tenth place with six games lost.
