There was a small surprise when twelfth ranked Basket Pila (2-7) beat on the road 9th ranked TKM Wloclawek (2-7) 74-62 on Saturday. Power forward Maciej Adamkiewicz (199-89) had a double-double by scoring 27 points and 13 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Kamil Michalski (200-94) chipped in 10 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. At the losing side Adrian Warszawski (201-96) responded with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 15 rebounds and swingman Kamil Hanke (192-95) scored 28 points. TKM Wloclawek's coach let to play eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Basket Pila moved-up to ninth place in Group A, which they share with defeated TKM Wloclawek. TKM Wloclawek lost fourth consecutive game. Basket Pila will face higher ranked Pelplin (#5) in Pelpin in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
