Regular Season Round 4: Fubon Braves - KKL 73-74

Important game to mention about was the one when third ranked KKL (2-3) saved a 1-point victory edging one of their biggest challengers Fubon Braves (2-3) 74-73 in the fight for the third place. Fubon Braves were ahead by 2 points after three quarters before a 22-19 charge of KKL, which allowed them to win the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American center Kyle Barone (208-89, college: Idaho) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds. Guard Yu-Hsuan Sung (183-89) contributed with 15 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four KKL players scored in double figures. American center Earl Barron (211-81, college: Memphis) replied with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 13 rebounds and guard Wei-Che Lin (182-92) added 9 points and 4 assists in the effort for Fubon Braves. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. KKL maintains third position with 2-3 record having just three points less than leader Taiwan Beer, which they share with Yulon Luxgen and Fubon Braves. Fubon Braves lost third consecutive game. KKL will play against league's second-placed Pure Youth in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Fubon Braves will play against Bank of Taiwan and hope to get back on the winning track.
