Regular Season Round 13: Verviers-Pep. - Spirou 66-94

The most interesting game of round 13 in the Scooore League was a home defeat of 5th ranked VOO Verviers-Pepinster (5-4) by second ranked Spirou Charleroi (6-3) who outscored them by 28 points 94-66 in the game for the second place. The game without a history. Spirou Charleroi led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. American forward Jordan Heath (208-91, college: Canisius, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) stepped up and scored 18 points and 7 rebounds for the winners and Maxime Gaudoux (200-90) chipped in 16 points and 4 assists. At the losing side American forward Darrell Williams (203-89, college: Tex.A&M-Comm.) responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 15 rebounds and the other American import guard Robert Holcomb Faye (185-84, college: Radford) scored 12 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Spirou Charleroi maintains second place with 6-3 record having just two points less than leader Oostende. VOO Verviers-Pepinster at the other side dropped to the third position with four games lost. They share it with Aalstar. Spirou Charleroi are looking forward to face Basic-Fit Brussels (#6) at home in the next round. VOO Verviers-Pepinster will play against Liege Basket in Liege and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
