Four CD Puerto Varas players scored in double figures. CD Puerto Varas' coach Gaston Fernandez rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. AB Ancud moved-up to fourth place, which they share with CD Valdivia and Tinguiririca S.F. Loser CD Puerto Varas dropped to the eighth position with nine games lost. AB Ancud will face Deportivo Valdivia (#5) at home in the next round. CD Puerto Varas will play against CD Castro and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
