Rather expected game in Tarnobrzeg where 14th ranked MKS Start (2-8) was defeated by eleventh ranked Stabill Jezioro (4-4) 85-73 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 13-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 85-73. Stabill Jezioro made 20-of-22 free shots (90.9 percent) during the game. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Stabill Jezioro made 7 blocks. The best player for the winners was Daniel Wall (196-82, agency: Promotex) who scored 19 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. American power forward Zach Robbins (208-91, college: Dixie St.) chipped in a double-double by scoring 10 points, 10 rebounds and 6 blocks. Five Stabill Jezioro players scored in double figures. They keep the fourteenth position with eight games lost. Stabill Jezioro will face higher ranked Anwil (#3) in Wloclawek in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. MKS Start will play at home against the league's leader Stelmet (#1) where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
