Very predictable result in Aviles where seventh ranked Araski AES (6-4) outscored 14th ranked ADBA (1-9) 74-55 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Araski AES. ADBA was better in third quarter 17-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Forward Ane Aldalur (178-89) fired 16 points for the winners. Guard Cristina Molinuevo (179-96) chipped in 11 points and 7 rebounds. Four Araski AES players scored in double figures. point guard Andrea Malanda (164-90) produced 16 points and 4 assists and Croatian forward Davorka Balic (188-88) added 19 points respectively for lost side. Araski AES moved-up to sixth place in Group A, which they share with Arxil Pontev. ADBA lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the thirteenth position with nine games lost. Araski AES will face Badajoz BF (#9) at home in the next round. ADBA will play against Cortegada (#10) in Vilagarcia Arousa and hope to win that game.
