Rather predictable result when second ranked Rocamora (9-5) won against at home 6th ranked Gimnasia LP (4-10) 70-63 on Sunday. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Gimnasia LP was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Forward Federico Mariani (190-92) orchestrated the victory by scoring 22 points and 6 rebounds. Matias Cuello (190-91) contributed with 15 points for the winners. Center Eduardo Vassirani (200-91) answered with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 14 rebounds and point guard Leonardo La Bella (180-86) added 19 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Gimnasia LP.
