There was a small surprise when ninth ranked Terpsithea (3-5) beat 6th ranked Kronos AD (3-5) in Glyfadas 68-51. They outrebounded Kronos AD 44-30 including a 33-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Terpsithea players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward Amelia Simmons (181-87, college: Wilmington, DE) who had a double-double by scoring 23 points and 11 rebounds. Point guard Eleni Syra (167-95) chipped in 15 points and 9 rebounds. U.S. Virgin Islands-American swingman Natalie Day (182-90, college: Portland) produced 18 points and 7 rebounds and American center Adijat Adams (187-92, college: Biola, CA) added 8 points and 10 rebounds respectively for the guests. Kronos AD's coach Aris Mavridis rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Terpsithea moved-up to seventh place, which they share with defeated Kronos AD. Terpsithea's next round opponent will be league's leader Olympiacos Pireus in Ellinikou and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
