Very predictable result in Changchun where third ranked Zhejiang Guangsha Lions (12-2) smashed 18th ranked Jilin Tigers (3-11) 118-93. The game was mostly controlled by Zhejiang Guangsha Lions. Jilin Tigers was better in fourth quarter 22-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Jilin Tigers 56-41 including a 42-25 advantage in defensive rebounds. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. They brought some defensive toughness making 9 blocks. American power forward Elijah Holman (208-89, college: Detroit Mercy, agency: Pensack Sports) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 26 points, 14 rebounds and 5 blocks (on 13-of-17 shooting from the field). The other American import point guard Jeremy Pargo (188-86, college: Gonzaga, agency: Priority Sports) contributed with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 11 assists for the winners. American swingman Marcus Williams (200-86, college: Arizona, agency: Interperformances) replied with 19 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists and American-Puerto Rican center Peter Ramos (222-85) added 24 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Jilin Tigers. Five Zhejiang Guangsha Lions and four Jilin Tigers players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Guangdong ST. Jilin Tigers lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the eighteenth position with 11 games lost. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions' next round opponent will be Jiangsu TX (#15) at home which should be another easy win for them. Jilin Tigers will play against TianJin Steel in Tianjin and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
