Orzinuovi GaGa (10-1) recorded its first loss on the court of fifth ranked Bergamo on Sunday night. Visitors were edged by Bergamo 68-65. It ended at the same time the ten-game winning streak of Orzinuovi GaGa. It was a great evening for guard Alessandro Panni (189-91) who led his team to a victory scoring 19 points. Forward Marco Planezio (196-91, agency: Players Group) helped adding 8 points and 10 rebounds. The former international power forward Riccardo Perego (202-81) responded with 18 points and 7 rebounds and guard Antonio Ruggiero (190-81, agency: SPORTlab Agency) scored 13 points and 4 steals. Four Orzinuovi GaGa players scored in double figures. Bergamo (8-3) moved-up to fourth place in B, which they share with Crema. Loser Orzinuovi GaGa still keeps top position with one game lost. They share it with Udine APU. Bergamo will meet Pavia (#10) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Orzinuovi GaGa will play against Sangiorgese (#12) and hope to secure a win.
