There was no surprise when 14th ranked Roma S.Azzurra (2-9) was defeated on the road by third ranked Palestrina (9-2) 88-84 on Sunday. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Palestrina made 23-of-27 free shots (85.2 percent) during the game. Roma S.Azzurra was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was point guard Gianmarco Rossi (182-90) who scored 22 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Forward Filippo Gagliardo (206-78) chipped in 22 points (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). Four Palestrina players scored in double figures. Mattia Da Campo (197-97) produced 21 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists and Montenegrin forward Todor Radonjic (200-97) added 23 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for the guests. Roma S.Azzurra's coach Germano D'Arcangeli rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
