Regular Season Round 13: Znicz Basket - Notec Inowr. 76-73

Very expected game in Pruszkow where 12th ranked Notec Inowr. (4-9) was edged by seventh ranked Znicz Basket (8-5) 76-73 on Sunday. However just three-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Notec Inowr. was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Center Dawid Slupinski (206-92) stepped up and scored 5 points and 17 rebounds for the winners and power forward Mateusz Szwed (198-91) chipped in 10 points and 9 rebounds. Four Znicz Basket players scored in double figures. At the losing side Dawid Adamczewski (190-91) responded with 19 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Aleksander Filipiak (185-90) scored 10 points, 9 assists and 6 steals. Notec Inowr.'s coach Lukasz Zytko rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Znicz Basket moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Notec Inowr. lost their third game in a row. Newly promoted team dropped to the eleventh position with nine games lost. Znicz Basket will face GTK Gliwice (#15) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Notec Inowr. will play against Spojnia (#8) and hope to win that game.
