Regular Season Round 11: Trecate - Piombino 75-87

No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Piombino (7-4) defeated on the road bottom-ranked Trecate (0-11) 87-75 on Sunday. The guests were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Piombino made 19-of-24 free shots (79.2 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was point guard Mattia Venucci (185-90) who scored 19 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Center Edoardo Persico (208-87, agency: Players Group) chipped in 23 points (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field). Swingman Stefano Scrocco (200-77) produced 17 points and 4 assists and forward Patrick Grossini (193-79) added 11 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
