There was an upset in Nes Ziyona where higher ranked Ironi Nahariya (6-4) was defeated by eleventh ranked Ironi Nes-Ziona (3-7) 87-77 on Monday. The hosts trailed by 6 points at the halftime before their 48-32 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Ironi Nes-Ziona will face Hapoel Eilat (#10) on the road in the next round. Ironi Nahariya will play against the league's second-placed Maccabi Rishon (#2) having rather not much hope for a victory.
