The most important game in the last round took place in Hasharon between third ranked Maccabi Ashdod (3-3) and fourth ranked Ramat Hasharon (4-2) on Monday night. Maccabi Ashdod was defeated by Ramat Hasharon in a tough game on the road 69-78. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Maccabi Ashdod. Defending champion Maccabi Ashdod dropped to the fourth position with three games lost. Ramat Hasharon are looking forward to face bottom-ranked Hap.Petah Tikva (#8) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Maccabi Ashdod will play against ASA Jerusalem (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
