Regular Season Round 12: Orleans - ASVEL 50-70

ProA top team - ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket (10-2) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed thirteenth ranked Entente Orleans 45 (5-7) 70-50. The game was mostly controlled by ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket. Entente Orleans 45 was better in fourth quarter 12-8. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket maintains first position with 10-2 record. Entente Orleans 45 lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the twelfth place with seven games lost. They share the position with Chalons-Reims. ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket will play against Le Mans (#6) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Entente Orleans 45 will play against JSF Nanterre (#8) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
