Regular Season Round 10: TTU - TU/Rock 80-77

The most exciting game of round 10 in the Alexela KML took place in Tallinn. This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of much higher ranked TU/Rock (9-3) to eighth ranked TTU (3-8) 80-77 on Tuesday evening. It was quite big embarassment for the guest team. The hosts trailed by 6 points after three quarters before their 27-18 charge, which allowed them to win the game. The former international forward Kristjan Kitsing (205-90) scored 25 points and 8 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and international point guard Rait-Riivo Laane (179-93) chipped in 15 points and 9 assists during the contest. Four TTU players scored in double figures. At the losing side Canadian-Lithuanian point guard Evaldas Zabas (188-88) responded with 23 points and the former international guard Tanel Kurbas (197-88) scored 16 points and 5 rebounds. TTU maintains eighth position with 3-8 record. Defending champion TU/Rock keeps the second place with three games lost. TTU's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Tallinn to the arena TLU/Kalev.
