Very predictable result when top-ranked Ferrara (10-0) rolled over at home 13th ranked Brindisi (1-8) 81-50 on Tuesday. The game without a history. Ferrara led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Brindisi to just 5 points in third quarter. Ferrara dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Brindisi's 20. Ferrara forced 24 Brindisi turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Giulia Rulli (185-91) who helped to win the game recording 8 points and 11 rebounds. Argentinian swingman Macarena Rosset (178-91, agency: Players Group) contributed with 13 points and 4 assists for the winners. Spanish center Deborah Rodriguez (187-89) replied with 8 points and 8 rebounds and power forward Luigia Boccadamo (175-94) added 9 points in the effort for Brindisi. Newly promoted Brindisi dropped to the fourteenth place with eight games lost. Ferrara will face Salerno (#13) on the road in the next round which should be another easy win for them.
