American-Jordanian swingman Jimmy Baxter (193-80, college: S.Florida) contributed with 20 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. The former international forward Walter Herrmann (206-79) replied with 20 points and 9 rebounds (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) and American forward Roquez Johnson (201-92, college: Mississippi St.) added 12 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for CASLA. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Penarol have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Regatas C. Newly promoted CASLA keeps the third position with eight games lost.
