No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Le Portel (6-2) defeated at home 7th ranked Boulazac Basket (4-3) 87-77 on Friday. The game was mostly controlled by Le Portel. Boulazac Basket was better in second period 22-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Le Portel made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was guard Benoit Mangin (191-88) who scored 15 points and 7 assists. American center Jakim Donaldson (204-83, college: Edinboro) chipped in 15 points and 8 rebounds.
