Regular Season Round 14: Pogon Prudnik - Slask 2 Wroclaw 84-64

There was no surprise when 13th ranked Slask 2 Wroclaw (4-10) was crushed on the road by seventh ranked Pogon Prudnik (9-5) 84-64. Point guard Krzysztof Chmielarz (180-88) notched 20 points to lead the effort and swingman Kacper Stalicki (195-92) supported him with 15 points. Even 12 points and 6 rebounds by swingman Dominik Wilczek (193-99) did not help to save the game for Slask 2 Wroclaw. Forward Filip Czyznielewski (198-91) added 12 points and 7 rebounds for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Pogon Prudnik moved-up to fourth place, which they share with GKS Tychy and Znicz Basket. Newly promoted Slask 2 Wroclaw dropped to the twelfth position with ten games lost. Pogon Prudnik's next round opponent will be league's leader Krosno on the road and it may be the game of the week. Slask 2 Wroclaw will play against Astoria Bydg. (#9) and hope to win that game.
