There was a small surprise when fourteenth ranked Bottegone (4-8) defeated at home 11th ranked Faenza (4-8) 71-62 on Saturday. It was a good game for swingman Stefano Laudoni (195-89) who led his team to a victory with 26 points and 9 rebounds. Guard Stefano Cernivani (185-91) contributed with 11 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Guard Samuel Dal Fiume (185-83, agency: Interperformances) replied with 11 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists and guard Giovanni Penserini (193-88) added 10 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Faenza. Four Faenza players scored in double figures. Bottegone moved-up to eleventh place in B, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Faenza.
